Maureen Denise McCormick born 5th August 1956 Woodland Hills California, youngest daughter and only of Richard McCormick. Her father taught at school, while her mother was a domestic worker. Michael Dennis and Kevin are three of her elder brothers. McCormick started dancing and singing at an early age and would often perform puppet shows in front of the kids in her community. Following her win in the Baby Miss San Fernando Valley contest at the age of 6 years old, Pat Domigan called from Jack Wormser Agency to see if McCormick wanted to get involved in the industry of entertainment. McCormick had her first significant role when she got a part in the commercial for television that was broadcast in 1964 of Mattels latest baby doll Baby Pattaburp. In the following year, she appeared in the role of Chatty Cathy in a commercial and was then cast for the show Wind It Up and It's Breaks in The La Jolla Playhouse. The Brady Bunch McCormick auditioned for the role of the eldest daughter of the three towheaded girls in The Brady Bunch. The show starred Florence Henderson, Robert Reed and a new blended family. It lasted five years. McCormick said in her 2008 book Heres the Story : Surviving Marcia Brady & Finding My True Voice she almost losing her virginity in the fifth season in the presence of Barry Williams, her co-star as well as her on-screen brother. In the moment, she was just 16 years old and he was 19. The woman said it might be possible, however we never had the right timing.
