Maureen Denise McCormick is the younger daughter of Richard McCormick. She was born August 5th, 1956 at Woodland Hills California. Her father taught in the school system while her mother was a stay-at-home mom. Michael Dennis Kevin, her two older brothers. At a young age McCormick enjoyed singing and dance and would often put on puppet shows for the neighborhood children. When McCormick was six years old, she won an award in the Baby Miss San Fernando Valley pageant. Pat Domigan at Jack Wormser Agency phoned to ask her if she would like to enter show business. McCormick had her first significant role when she got a part as a television character in the 1964 commercial of Mattels new baby doll, Baby Pattaburp. The following year she starred as Chatty Cathy in a commercial before being cast in the show Wind It up and It's Broken at The La Jolla Playhouse. The Brady Bunch McCormick, chosen from more than 1200 auditioning children to play the older of three two-headed daughters, in The Brady Bunch (1969) which starred Florence Henderson and Robert Reed. The series lasted 5 years. In her autobiography Heres the Story: Surviving Marcia Brady and Finding My True Voice released in 2008, McCormick admitted that in the shows fifth season she nearly lost her virginity to her screen co-star and brother Barry Williams. In 2008, McCormick revealed in her book Heres the Story: Surviving Marcia Brady and Identifying My True Voice that in the fifth season of the show she almost lost her virginity to Barry Williams. She said that it would have been possible, but it was never the best time to do it.
