Maureen Denise McCormick is the daughter and youngest child of Richard McCormick. She was born on August 5th 1956 at Woodland Hills California. The mother of the child was home and was also a mom. Michael Dennis, Kevin and Dennis are her three oldest brothers. McCormick started singing and performing from a young age. After winning the Baby Miss San Fernando Valley contest when she was 6 years old, Pat Domigan called from Jack Wormser Agency to see what she thought about getting involved in the industry of entertainment. McCormick was hired to star in her debut major part in 1964, in an tv commercial featuring Mattels new doll, Baby Pattaburp. The commercial was re-run in 1964 for the Mattels Chatty Cathy toy and soon was cast as the lead role in The Wind It up and It breaks, a production at La Jolla Playhouse. The Brady Bunch McCormick auditioned for the role of the youngest daughter of the towheaded trio in The Brady Bunch. The show was a collaboration between Florence Henderson, Robert Reed and a new blended family. It lasted five years. McCormick's memoir Heres the Story, Surviving Marcia Brady: Finding My True Voice was published in the year 2008. She revealed in it that McCormick almost lost her virginity on the stage of the show during the fifth season, when she was a victim to Barry Williams. He was 19 years old. She was 16. She said that it would have been feasible, but we never had the right timing.
