Maureen Denise McCormick born 5th August 1956 Woodland Hills California, youngest daughter and only one of Richard McCormick. Her father was a schoolteacher while her mother was a stay-at-home mother. Her older brothers are: Michael Dennis and Kevin. Beginning at a very early age, McCormick enjoyed singing and dance and would often perform puppet shows for kids in the community. She was crowned the Baby Miss San Fernando Valley Contest at age 6 and was approached through Pat Domigan, a talent agent from the Jack Wormser Agency. He was interested in her desire to join the show business. McCormick was commissioned to perform in her first major role in 1964 in an tv commercial featuring Mattels latest doll Baby Pattaburp. In the following year she was a guest on another firm's Chatty Cathy Doll and was soon chosen to play her role in the La Jolla Playhouse play Wind ItUp and ItBreaks. The Brady Bunch McCormick won an audition in 1969 from over 1200 kids to be the youngest of three twins on The Brady Bunch TV show The Brady Bunch, starring Florence Henderson as a newlywed with Robert Reed. The show ran for 5 seasons. McCormick's book Heres the Story, Surviving Marcia Brady: Finding My True Voice was published in the year 2008. In it she revealed the fact that McCormick nearly lost her virginity on stage of the show during the fifth season, when she was a victim to Barry Williams. In 2008, McCormick disclosed in her book, Here's the Truth: surviving Marcia Brady and Finding My True Voice that during season five of the show she almost lost her virginity to actor Barry Williams.
