Maureen Denise McCormick born 5th August 1956 in Woodland Hills California, youngest daughter and only daughter of Richard McCormick. She was the home of her mother and was also a mom. She has three older brothers: Michael Dennis and Kevin. Beginning at a very early age, McCormick loved to sing and dance, and she would frequently perform puppet shows for the neighborhood children. She won her first contest, the Baby Miss San Fernando Valley contest at the age of 6 and was approached via Pat Domigan, a talent agent from the Jack Wormser Agency. He asked her if she wanted to join the show business. McCormick got her first big work in 1964, when she appeared in a TV commercial featuring Mattels newest doll Baby Pattaburp. The following year she appeared in another commercial for Mattels Chatty Cathy doll and was later cast in the show The Wind It Up And It breaks on stage at La Jolla Playhouse. The Brady Bunch In 1969 McCormick was chosen from a field of 1500 children who had auditioned to play the eldest of three towheaded daughters on the new TV show The Brady Bunch starring Florence Henderson and Robert Reed as newlyweds with a blended family. The show lasted for five seasons. McCormick's book Heres the Story, Surviving Marcia Brady: Finding My True Voice was released in the year 2008. She revealed in it that McCormick nearly lost her virginity while on set of the series during the fifth season when it was played by Barry Williams. He was 19 years old. She was just 16.
